EPIC INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING EXERCISE BOOKLET
I start by meeting with the subject matter experts to understand the Registered Nurse workflow, the system steps, and what new users need to be successful in Epic. From there, I map out the training flow and create all supporting materials, including the slide deck, step‑by‑step documents, and a detailed facilitator guide to ensure consistent delivery to go with this Exercise Booklet.
I built the class in a way that mirrors real‑world tasks, making it easy for learners to connect the training to their daily work. Throughout the process, I check in with SMEs to confirm accuracy and adjust content as workflows evolve. The result is a clear, practical onboarding class that helps new users feel confident navigating Epic from day one.

Residential Nurse - Exercise Booklet - CCC.pdfThis project focused on creating a simple, easy‑to‑use job aid that walks leaders and staff through the workflow for monitoring and reviewing timecards in UKG. I started by sitting down with SMEs to understand the exact steps, decision points, and common issues users face in the system. From there, I mapped the workflow, clarified each action, and confirmed how the process should look from start to finish.
Once the workflow was clear, I translated it into a clean, visual job aid with screenshots, callouts, and short explanations that guide users through the task without overwhelming them. I refined the layout, wording, and visuals through review cycles to make sure the instructions were accurate, consistent, and easy for anyone to follow. The final job aid gives teams a reliable reference they can use during onboarding or day‑to‑day work, helping ensure timecards are reviewed correctly and on schedule for all.

HR_Monitoring and Reviewing Timecards_JA.pdfEPIC Fundamentals is an introductory training module built in Articulate Rise 360 to help new users learn core Epic workflows. I designed custom graphics, interactive activities, and a scenario‑based knowledge check, including one Storyline interaction embedded directly into the course.
To build the module, I worked closely with SMEs and stakeholders to understand the workflow, outline the content, and refine drafts through review cycles. I also created supporting materials such as a quick start guide and links to internal forms. Once finalized, the module was uploaded to the LMS for pilot testing and then assigned as part of the onboarding process.
